Their performance to Rick James&#8217; &#8220;Give It to Me Baby&#8221; not only showcased their impressive footwork but also their enduring friendship and passion for dance.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"915\">The Funkateers first came together in 1980 to win their high school talent show. After decades apart, they reunited to bring their unique blend of energy and nostalgia to the AGT stage. Their performance resonated with the judges and audience alike, with Judge Sofia Vergara praising them for embodying the spirit of the show.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"1235\">Terry Crews, a Michigan native himself, was visibly moved by their act. He shared a heartfelt moment with the group before pressing the Golden Buzzer, sending them straight to the live shows and bypassing the Judge Cuts.
