It wasn\u2019t a pregnancy or a tumor\u2014but a rare condition called\u00a0<strong data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"477\">intestinal lymphangiectasia<\/strong>, which causes fluid buildup in the abdomen, leading to pain, fatigue, and swelling.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"563\" data-end=\"813\">Despite the hardship, \u00c9lise showed extraordinary resilience. Her single mother, struggling to make ends meet, remained by her side. Doctors had to urgently drain more than 3 liters of fluid\u2014a painful procedure for a child, but \u00c9lise never complained.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"815\" data-end=\"1028\">Her courage inspired the entire hospital. Nurses and doctors rallied around her, calling her a symbol of hope. Later, she earned a spot in medical school, thanks to community support.
