He said, “Bye, I love you,” as his girls got out of the car after he dropped them off at school. “Bye, dad,” was their reply, and they didn’t see him again. She attested to the fact that her husband used a gun to end his own life. Before the incident, he had strolled to the top of their property, which was a few acres in size and enclosed by gates.
She raced up the hill to see what had happened after hearing the gunshot. But her sense of duty to her two young girls prevented her from continuing, telling her to stay out of any possible danger. He was eventually found by one of the domestic staff members. They dialed 911 right away, and the cops surrounded their house shortly after.
“We were inconsolable.
